The roomI sit within my lonely thoughts listening To the ticking sound of the slow clock, The fan’s unchanging monotonous tone, Disembodied footsteps sound outside the quiet room, Tap tap of keys and the scribble of my pen on paper. The heat seems to settle in the room, Filling it and its musty dusty old booksThe room
And crinkled posters exclaiming Never shall Forget and America forever! Overpowering collages which are “poetry and art” Yet seem just like the dull efforts of those who Try too hard.
